City bulk pickup is useful, but it has limits.
Goodyear, Buckeye and Avondale each publish their own bulk trash rules. Those programs can be the cheapest option when your items qualify and the schedule works. Private junk removal becomes useful when the material is excluded, the pile is too large, items are inside the home, or timing matters.

The city excludes items such as tires, oil, large auto parts and construction/demolition material from bulk collection.
